Erik Karlström

I’m from Stockholm, Sweden, where I was born and raised. My interest in creativity and communication developed early, but my career began in a different place, working with sales at Porsche. There, I gained a deep understanding of customer experience, brand value, and what it takes to build trust around premium products. Over time, I felt a growing curiosity toward the creative side of me, which led me to pursue a career as an Art Director. I’ve since graduated from Berghs School of Communication, where I completed my studies in the summer of 2026.

During my studies and since graduating, I’ve had the opportunity to gain experience as an Art Director at agencies like BBDO, TBWA, and Bloomy Ideas, where I’ve worked alongside talented teams and contributed to creative concepts across a range of projects. These experiences have helped shape my approach, combining strategic thinking with strong visual ideas. With a background that bridges both business and creativity, I’m interested in building ideas that not only stand out but also create real value for brands and people.
